Having started my career in televion news, I have always enjoyed video production and all that it entails, from pre-production through post-production. Here are a few examples of videos I’ve had the pleasure to work on.
NOVA/WGBH, Rx for Survival. As a Development Producer for this PBS series on global health, I produced treatments/outlines for two hour-long documentaries. This involved extensive research and interviews with some of the world’s most prominent public health experts.
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. This video was part of an initiative to promote advance care planning among health care providers, patients, and family members. As Communication Director for the Department of Medicine and c0-lead of the initiative, I produced this video, featuring a BIDMC patient and her family.
Interactive Health. As Senior Health Communications Consultant for a large employee health and wellness company, I oversaw the production of 20 videos to promote financial, physical, and mental health among members.
Harvard Center for Cancer Prevention. With funding from the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation, I co-produced this video and facilitator’s guide on cross-cultural care and communication. It has been used by 250+ medical schools and other public health organizations.
